Staycation 2011

15 to 16 December 2011 (Thursday to Friday)

This year, our staycation was at Resort World Sentosa for 2 days 1 night.

We stayed at Festive Hotel - but a room without the loft bed cos mama felt that the bed was too dangerous, ha ha...

15 December 2011

Our first day was spent mainly at holiday activities section at Sentosa.

Making a kid's apron at the Creative Kids' Arts & Crafts Workshop.

My apron was ready! It was made of recycled banner.

Storytelling Comes Alive! - Goldilocks and The Three Bears.

I volunteered to be the Baby Bear on stage :)

I have to read the scripts on the giant story book when it was baby bear's turn to speak :)

I read well and mama was so proud of me :)

It was fun!

Baking cookies!

While waiting for our cookies to be ready, I played with my new friend -Matthew, that I met during the baking class.

As our cookies were still not ready, we stayed back to watch Little Red Riding Hood.

By the time we check-in into our hotel, it was almost 5.30pm.

After our dinner, we took a leisure walk around resort world.

I liked this shopping cart more than the candies, ha ha...

Enjoying my Chocolate and Blue Sky ice cream, yum-yum :)

It was snowing!

I had fun!

We did not watch any laser show around the resort as I kept pestering papa and mama to go back to the hotel - I just love hotel's room ...

16 December 2011

After our breakfast, we went over to Hard Rock Hotel to check out their swimming pool.

Part of the swimming pool was created like a beach with clean and fine sand, I was thrilled!

There was also a water-play area :)

The only attraction that we visited at Sentosa - Extreme Log Ride. I was so scared that I held papa's and mama's hand tightly. But after the show, I told mama that I was not scared anymore :)

Taking the Sentosa's bus to have our lunch. My first time taking a bus together with papa :)

Our last stop was at Maritime Experimental Museum.

I may not understand alots of stuff inside the museum but they had quite a few interactive activities to entertain kids and the museum was very spacious.

Papa making a Chinese junk.
